Donate to Support our Work

PCBF raises money all year round to post bail for our neighbors who remain imprisoned simply because they cannot afford to pay for their freedom. Your support also enables us to provide basic mutual aid to those we free from jail. These supports include transit passes so that people can get to court or work; help paying back rent or securing an apartment when incarceration has threatened their housing; and money for groceries and clothing.

PCBF is a revolving bail fund as bails that we post return to the fund at the conclusion of an individual's case. That means your gift today will help buy back the freedom of many in the months and years to come!

Is my donation tax deductible?

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?

You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.

Is my donation private?
